Sonny Hess has curated the NW Women R&B all-star shows all over the West coast for over 3 decades.
The NW Women Rhythm & Blues group performs specialty shows comprised of the top female performers in the region as well as newly scouted talent to be introduced to the NW blues scene.
A few names you might recognize that got their start in the area with The NW Women group are Lisa Mann, Ellen Whyte, Rae Gordon, Naomi T, and Lady Kat just to mention a few.
These women have gone on to win multiple awards locally, regional, and nationally. Each one of these shows is different, women performing with women and a certain magic happens!
