Karen Hester- performing as Dolly Parton - Karen has a truly magnificent stage presence as she amazes crowds time and time again. Coming from a family of musical people where everyone either picked up and instrument or sang along to the tune of the hour, the stage is close to her heart. She started by singing at family reunions, gospel quartets and trios and then started venturing into theatrical productions and country music. Drawing inspiration from Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Martina McBride and Dolly Parton, as Hester grew, so did her passion for music and performance. Harnessing a wide array of professional experience, and topping it off with outstanding costumes, wigs and makeup, Hester brings her Dolly Parton act to life on in A Christmas to Remember. Be prepared to be impressed.
Mark Hinds -performing as Kenny Rogers- Ken has been performing as Kenny Rogers for the past 20 years. It all started in Gaylord, Michigan in 1979 when given the opportunity to perform as Kenny Rogers at a ski resort would change his life forever. Hinds has traveled all over the world amazing audiences with his impression of the famed country singer, gaining notoriety as the only Kenny Rogers tribute artist in the country. Hinds has been on stage twice with Rogers, including a gig at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville where he was part of Charlie Chases’ Funny Business Show and was asked to embarrass Rogers on national TV. It left Rogers’ fans stunned to see two of their favorite entertainers standing together side by side singing on the Roger’s biggest this “The Gambler”.
